WHAT IS CANON PHOTOMARATHON?

The first CPM was held in Singapore in 2003. Encouraged by its excellent reception, the competition was extended to other parts of Asia. In 2017, CPM extended its footprint to Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Brunei, Cambodia, China and Sri Lanka, launched in a total of 12 countries and regions.

Beyond a showcase of creativity, Canon PhotoMarathon heightens the excitement through time pressure and endurance. Participants have to demonstrate a unique perspective in picture composition according to assigned themes within a short span of time. In true competition style, crossing the finishing line entails composure to perform under time pressure and the tenacity to last a grueling full-day marathon.
